因嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎疫情嚴峻，高雄市長韓國瑜呼籲市府各部門應竭盡心力幫助及關懷因疫情影響生計的弱勢家庭及族群，苓雅區公所響應韓市長呼籲，於5月17日上午9時在高雄苓雅寮安瀾宮辦理「高雄市苓雅區109年度苓雅寮安瀾宮、台灣電力公司關懷受疫情影響經濟陷困之弱勢家庭防疫暨民生物資發放活動」，提供價值1,000元含白米、燕麥片、肉鬆、罐頭、手電筒、關廟麵及冬粉等700份民生物資予苓雅區受疫情影響生活陷困及列冊本區單親弱勢家庭。
苓雅寮頂寮安瀾宮為苓雅區歷史最悠久的媽祖廟，信徒眾多香火鼎盛，特別的是，近日5月13日安瀾宮為祈求地方平安，舉行歲次庚子年恭迎代天巡狩法會，由苓雅區公所區長陳進德擔任主祭官擲筊，首次擲出「立筊」，指木筊在擲出後以月牙形的兩支角穩穩站立在地面上，為難得一見之神跡，也是風調雨順的展現。本次物資發放活動安瀾宮與苓雅區公所、台灣電力有限公司合作發送民生物資，將政府及廟宇信眾愛心分送弱勢民眾。議長許崑源服務處亦到場送愛心，貼心加碼分送口罩防疫物資，讓弱勢家庭得到照顧與關懷。
配合防疫政策，當天發放現場備有手部酒精消毒、安排人員量體溫及觀察員掌握場內秩序，落實新禮貌運動排隊時人與人之間距離1公尺以上，不論是工作同仁或是領取民眾都非常配合，活動圓滿落幕。
苓雅區公所區長陳進德表示，感謝安瀾宮的物資提供，讓經濟弱勢家庭在疫情的衝擊下感受雪中送炭的溫暖，暫渡經濟難關。苓雅區公所長期與各大寺廟聯合舉辦物資發放關懷弱勢活動，秉持做愛心的精神，給予需要幫助的家庭適時的關懷與照顧，對社會有正面向上的力量。
