桃園市長鄭文燦今（18）日下午前往中壢區林森國小，出席「108學年度高中職、國中市長獎獲獎同學與市長合影活動」時表示，畢業時刻離情依依，卻也充滿成長的喜悅，恭喜每位獲得市長獎肯定的畢業生，成功踏出人生中漂亮的一步。鄭市長期勉各位畢業生把握生命精彩的時刻，留下最美好的回憶，做自己生命的導演，開創精彩人生。
鄭市長提到，本次市長獎獎座是以「智慧學習，教育標竿」為理念發想，美觀大方，致贈給獲獎畢業生的獎品也非常特別，包括音箱、藍芽耳機及無線充電行動電源等，期許每位獲獎學生充分享受數位科技帶來的學習樂趣，並培養跨域多元能力，勇敢迎接未來的競爭與挑戰。
鄭市長指出，每位獲獎同學各有自身精彩的故事，這個光榮時刻也是人生當中非常重要的里程碑。鄭市長並在典禮上分享數則優秀獲獎學生的學習歷程，他說，新屋高中彭宸緯同學擔任該校籃球隊隊長，於創隊後2年半時間同隊友一齊攻入高中籃球聯賽16強，創下隊史紀錄。他一路走來目標堅定，最終以該班第1名成績畢業，並經繁星推薦進入理想大學，學習態度及心態都值得嘉許。
鄭市長也說，育達高中楊軒銘同學曾獲桃園市政府青年事務局第一屆桃園青年行動家殊榮，也曾在全國中學生論文競賽中表現出眾，榮獲特優，並自創「高中生做點事」社團、辦理多場國小程式設計營隊，用實際行動回饋社會；青埔國中李逸同學多次擔任校內活動司儀職務，在雙語課程記者會時不僅能掌控同儕秩序，還能帶動現場氣氛，他不僅有非常好的外在條件，也非常合群、謙虛，在品格與領導力堪為同儕楷模。
鄭市長提及，仁美國中補校吳雲媛同學，她的先生早逝，多年來獨自一人撫養3個孩子長大成人，她於就讀補校3年期間皆主動擔任班長，熱心服務、勤學不倦，幾乎每天晚上都來上學，實為終身學習的典範楷模；東興國中補校劉黃平妹同學是全班年紀最長的學生，為了一圓60年前的少年求學夢，600個上課日每天下午5點從龍潭騎車到中壢上課，來回超過20公里的路程卻不以為苦，充分展現樂在學習的態度，是終身教育「活到老、學到老」的最佳典範。
今日包括市府教育局長林明裕、中壢區長鄭詩鈿、林森國小校長曾文政等均一同出席活動。
