為照顧小農及關懷弱勢族群，台灣郵政協會與新竹郵局於本(6)月18日下午3時，假新竹市政府社會處共同辦理「挺小農關懷弱勢團體」公益贈送活動，採購屏東枋山愛文芒果55箱、花蓮栗子地瓜60箱，捐贈給新竹市政府社會處，由其轉贈給需要的弱勢族群感受社會的溫暖與愛心。
本次公益活動由新竹郵局曾振源局長率領企劃行銷科同仁與會，並由新竹市政府社會處李處長季縈代表受贈，所有農產品將捐給新竹市政府「愛心福利社」、新竹市老人養護中心及財團法人天主教瑪利亞方濟各傳教女修會附設米可之家。
新竹郵局曾振源局長表示，郵政長期關懷農產行銷，今年已邁入第8年，本局將持續照顧農民生計，並積極參與公益活動，結合社區敦親睦鄰，關懷弱勢做民眾的好厝邊，提升郵政形象。
新竹市政府社會處表示，市府團隊相當重視弱勢服務，感謝新竹郵局與台灣郵政協會的愛心捐贈，幫助社會上的弱勢團體，使新竹市成為充滿愛的城市。
