桃園市大溪區公所為感謝及慰勞大溪區各里鄰長為民服務的辛勞，於109年6月23日上午10時0分在大溪區文化會館2樓演藝廳辦理「109年度大溪區績優及資深鄰長表揚」活動、並由區長陳嘉聰親自頒發獎狀，以表達對鄰長們不辭辛勞付出的敬意。
今年共計60位受獎者接受表揚，包括10位連續服務滿10年以上之資深鄰長及50位績優鄰長。區長表示鄰長是為民服務的第一線人員，時常協助市府及公所推動里上各項業務及熱心社區大小事，不論刮風下雨或在炎熱難耐的艷陽下均親力親為無私奉獻，熱忱的精神令人十分感佩。
本次表揚主要為強化基層組織功能，肯定鄰長為民服務品質的績效，以凝聚向心力，藉由活動促進與鄰長間的聯繫，並盼未來能齊心協力一同將大溪營造成樂活宜居的優良環境。
