桃園市長鄭文燦今（27）日下午前往大溪木藝生態博物館，出席「魯班鎖：木育及木美學體驗活動」時表示，配合「木家具館、木生活館」開館，木藝生態博物館在6月至7月期間舉辦近20場的系列活動，包括木家具館互動導覽、木生活館木美學體驗、博物館木育教學課程、街角館木體驗等，歡迎市民朋友參與體驗。而今日適逢木藝祖師—巧聖先師魯班誕辰，鄭市長也於活動中共同參與木育體驗活動，動手製作魯班鎖與木餐盤，共享木藝樂趣，期能透過系列活動讓更多人瞭解大溪木藝文化。
文化局長莊秀美指出，此次的系列活動非常多元，包括木家具館互動導覽，帶領不同年齡層群眾認識大溪木藝，而木生活館的木美學活動以不同素材與木藝的對話為主軸，培養木美學素養，木藝扎根教案體驗則以簡易材料包教學，讓對木藝有興趣的朋友，能輕鬆接觸木藝。此外，7間街角館合作舉辦「小徒弟拜師學藝」闖關體驗，讓遊客體驗取聰明水、刨木頭、解開魯班鎖等養成訓練；而內柵三和木藝工作坊將傳統的木工廠轉型，推出木藝體驗教室，結合木藝、農事及香草，並整合社區資源，舉辦生活實用的木工體驗、社區農遊體驗及暑期5日小木匠田園生活營。多元木藝體驗活動盡在大溪，相關活動內容及報名方式請參考官網（https://daxipropossal.webnode.tw/）或木生活館臉書粉絲專頁。
莊局長表示，大溪木藝生態博物館新開放的「木家具館、木生活館」是以歷史建築「大溪公會堂與蔣公行館」修復活化，園區風景優美，沿著崖線步道可以眺望大溪特色河階地形，而大溪公會堂及蔣公行館也保留日治及戰後時期建築風格及蔣公居住空間，融合大溪風景及人文歷史，成為親子、家庭或好友同遊的新景點。此外，「木家具館、木生活館」也分別舉辦「木職人的幸福提案」及「木與石的對話」開館特展，歡迎市民朋友到館參展，親近歷史建物及木藝生活。
今日包括市議員陳治文、市府文化局長莊秀美、大溪區長陳嘉聰、木藝生態博物館長陳倩慧等均一同出席活動。
