桃園市長鄭文燦今（5）日上午前往中壢銀河廣場，出席「《聯新 25 捐血傳愛 關懷婦幼讓愛飛揚 》活動」。鄭市長表示，新冠肺炎疫情期間全台血庫安全庫存偏低，市府邀集包括國際獅子會、扶輪社、同濟會等社團積極舉辦捐血活動，今日活動預計號召1,000名市民、湊齊25萬CC的熱血，緩解血荒並促進社會正向力量。
鄭市長也祝福聯新國際醫院25周年事業蒸蒸日上，持續提供市民朋友優質醫療服務。鄭市長說，桃園人口成長迅速，醫療服務也深受市民肯定，新冠肺炎疫情期間，市府與市內11家急救責任醫院組成肺炎聯防醫療網，強化醫療物資調度與院際間轉診合作機制，攜手對抗肺炎疫情，其中聯新國際醫院也負責桃園國際機場的醫療服務，肩負桃園醫療服務的重擔。
鄭市長也說，聯新國際醫院提供優質的醫療照護團隊、社區醫療照護網絡及完善的全人健康照護服務，並積極配合市府推動分級轉診、預防醫學、失智照顧、婦幼健康守護等工作，是南桃園地區市民身心健康的守護者，未來也將秉持與市民零距離的服務精神、深耕社區，繼續提供市民優質醫療服務。
今日包括市議員王浩宇、謝美英、市府社會局長鄭貴華、新聞處長詹賀舜、衛生局副局長蘇柏文、中壢區長鄭詩鈿、聯新國際醫院院長黃忠智、國際獅子會300G2區捐血主席謝森、第十專區主席林麗敏一同出席活動。
