臺中榮總與惠康基金會、新英機械廠股份有限公司共同招待護理師於5月4日在臺中大遠百威秀影城觀賞話題潮片「復仇者聯盟4」，劇中人物雖然個性及遭遇迥異，但只要目標一致、充滿希望、不輕言放棄，就能克服一切困難，這也體現了中榮重視團隊合作的精神。
中榮展現「護理師友善健康職場」的典範，在國際護師節一系列慶祝活動中，邀請中榮優良護理師及家屬、資深護理師共約300人，於假日走出白色巨塔欣賞電影，為辛勞的護理師們提供一個放鬆充電的機會，讓今年的優良護理師與家人一起開心看電影，共享溫馨時刻，為下一次服務充電出發。時值母親節前夕，也藉此向身兼母職的護理師們獻上祝福。
臺中榮總許惠恒院長夫婦及「新英機械廠股份有限公司」何永裕董事長夫婦亦全程陪同護理人員們觀賞，用行動表達對護理師的支持與鼓勵。何董事長在親人住院期間，感受臺中榮總護理師視病猶親的專業與親切，曾經想致送水果表達感謝，但是都被護理人員婉拒。這一份感謝的心意在心中存放多年，去年開始，藉著擔任惠康基金會董事的機會，向許惠恒院長提起這個心念，趁著護師節當天，特別撥空與夫人陪同300位護理師一起看電影，在忙碌的工作外稍稍休息、共享生活中的小確幸。
電影院中滿溢著爆米花的香味及溫馨歡樂的氣氛，一位病房護理說，平日上大夜班，生活雖規律的在醫院及家庭間奔波，但回家時先生已出門上班，等到先生下班她也準備出門了，他笑著說「夫妻倆好像在輪流『顧厝』」，上一次進電影院已不記得是多久前的事了，在護師節前夕可以進電影院與先生一起看電影，對她跟先生來說是一個美好的回憶。另一名急診護理師表示，平常總在處理最緊急的病人，快速及專注是他的日常，今天換下白衣看電影，她說好不容易家人都放假，等等約好了吃中餐，要當個「婦酬者」感謝媽媽的辛勞，提前慶祝母親節。
