【記者湯皓宇/臺南採訪報導】數位學習時代的來臨，台南公私協力攜手關心弱勢家庭剩童學習權益，弭平城鄉差距。台南市長黃偉哲今(13)日感謝PaGamO平台創辦人葉丙成教授代表素養品學堂，捐贈市值超過百萬的200組學習帳號給台南市政府，予以提供弱勢兒少使用，建立起「線線相連 學習無礙」的數位學習環境與資源；黃偉哲特別勉勵學生善用暑假期間勤學不輟，讓閱讀能力迎頭趕上甚至超越同儕，讓PaGamO線上學習系統在暑假發揮最大的功能。市議員沈震東也到場關心孩童教育。
台南市長黃偉哲表示，以往學生在英文的聽說讀寫上，往往僅有讀的能力尚可，聽、說、寫的能力都有待加強，現在的學生卻在中文的閱讀能力都明顯不足，更不用說進階的寫作能力，很高興暑假將至的時候，在紙本教學逐漸讓人疲乏厭倦的現況下，能有PaGamO的線上學習系統讓同學能醉心於趣味的線上學習中，藉著遊戲增進閱讀的能力。
台南市政府社會局表示，葉丙成教授希望可以運用科技，讓閱讀素養的養成跳脫傳統與學習變得有趣，他與黃國珍老師共同創立PaGamO素養品學堂，提供孩子自我訓練「訊息擷取」、「統整解釋」、「省思評鑑」三面向的素養能力，並發起了「素養傳愛公益捐贈合作-ONE for ONE弱勢兒少提升閱讀素養支持計畫」，即每售出一個PaGamO素養品學堂學習帳號，就會有一位／家弱勢兒少獲得線上學習的機會，讓弱勢兒少的閱讀和學習得以藉由「PaGamO素養品學堂」實現，提升弱勢兒少們的閱讀學習能力，不在求學過程中因資源的不均而吃虧。
為了支持失業、離婚、單親、隔代教養、經濟弱勢等家庭，台南市政府結合了社福團體布建了27個兒童及少年社區照顧據點，提供871位兒少照顧與輔導資源，以就近服務與全人適性發展為目標，陪伴這些孩子，提供一個讓孩子下課後有一個安心讀書、等待父母工作結束回家的地方。
