國立高雄師範大學志工團榮獲第27屆傑青獎，獎項包含「十大傑出社團」、「十大傑出社團領袖」、「十大傑出社團指導老師」，日前受邀前進總統府，獲得蔡英文總統的肯定、嘉許與表揚。
蔡英文總統接見時表示，「年輕人是改變世界的風」，期許青年學子能夠傳承服務精神，讓更多年輕人發揮影響力，也期許能憑藉著專業和熱忱，讓臺灣在國際上更有競爭力。高師大志工團秉持著三大理念「溫度」、「深根」、「傳承」經營社團。在服務學習中看見他人的好，更看見自己的不足，用有感的溫度實踐服務學習；志工團之苓洲國小課輔服務隊、深根課輔服務隊、華山養老服務隊、向善課輔服務隊以及寒假偏鄉服務隊等皆以深根為主，堅持長年每月每週的服務，期許服務不是曇花一現的激動，而是深根人心的溫暖與感動。志工團傳承至今已15年，帶著上一屆的經驗，到每一屆的成長，延伸至下一屆的創新，都是傳承的精神，期許志工團實踐有「溫度」的服務，「深根」人心的悸動，以及「傳承」永續的希望。志工團是永不熄滅的星星，相信能夠持續燃燒發揮影響力。
吳連賞校長7/15向獲得「傑出社團獎」高師大志工團代表電機系(原光通系)三年級黃雅琪(副社長)、「傑出社團領袖獎」特教系三年級林玟妤(社長)及「傑出社團指導老師獎」林淑宜老師等頒贈禮品道賀與嘉勉。
吳連賞校長表示，他首先代表高師大教職員工生，向獲獎的個人及社團代表表達祝賀之意，並高度肯定同學們的努力付出與成就。期勉同學們要走出舒適圈，創造機會將自己投入於服務學習中，從中學習溝通思辯、團隊合作，同時厚實問題解決之能力。並期許同學們，除了擁有自身專業長才外，更要培養未來社會所需要的軟實力，成為具備競爭力的現代青年。
