縣府教育處長陸正威6日下午前往名間鄉松柏嶺高爾夫球場，出席台灣長春職業高爾夫協會獎助學金頒贈儀式，代表接受該會捐贈本縣50萬元，並致贈感謝狀，感謝該會連續四年挹注善款，協助偏鄉學子建構更優質的學習環境。
該會在松柏嶺高爾夫球埸舉辦松柏嶺長春慈善賽，約有126位會員選手參加競賽，賽事競爭激烈，過程精彩。會後，舉行獎助學金捐贈儀式，由該會競賽理事長張德雄代表捐贈，縣府及各受贈學校則分別致贈感謝狀及卡片。
陸處長感謝松柏嶺高爾夫球場集體協力聯合高爾夫界同好，自106年起踴躍捐贈獎助學金助學，總金額達200多萬元，協助中寮鄉8所小學及草屯鎮土城國小，協助學童學業、各式競賽及語文能力發展等所需，發揮扶助弱勢、支持家庭功能完善，協助學童圓夢。
他也期盼藉此拋磚引玉，喚起社會各界的愛心，未來縣府團隊也將結合民間團體舉辦相關活動，發揮更好的社會價值，服務公益，讓偏鄉的孩子獲得更好的照顧。
中寮鄉永樂國小校長劉永健表示，感謝該會捐贈奬助學金助學，未來將妥善運用善款，提升教學品質，鼓勵學童用心學習。
發起此項捐款的台灣長春職業高爾夫協會慈善賽理事長張德雄則表示，偏鄉學童資源缺乏，為使孩子在求學之餘不用擔心生計，鼓勵學童向學，未來也將不斷舉行這項非常有意義的活動。
