台灣愛心關懷公益協會於8月25號，接到一通台北市弱勢家庭蔣小姐的求助訊息，內容寫著可以幫助我們嗎？請給我們一罐奶粉！台灣愛心關懷公益協會經過討論之後，決定於8月29號早上10點前往探訪了解該家庭情形。
求助者蔣小姐，台北市人1家9口，只有一個大陸媳婦有工作，撐起全部家計，年長者都沒有工作，都靠政府補助微薄的補助金。蔣小姐本身單眼失明，長期失業在家照顧年邁的父母親，母親八十歲心臟有病，父親93歲是癌症失智老人。
而弟弟一家六口，弟弟約50歲，是獨臂重障礙身障者無法工作，太太約40歲是大陸媳婦，在上班有微博收入，育有4子女，都是國小孩童，他們沒有床睡覺，晚上都睡地上，全家是當地的低收入戶。
里長得知消息之後，有給予安排弟弟一家6人搬到同社區，一戶老公寓暫時居住，一家人分住兩邊，因蔣小姐還要照顧兩個年老父母親，全家經濟陷入困境，特地請求社會資源幫忙。
台灣愛心關懷公益協會創會長施國梁與顧問洪緞，得知消息後，與獅子會的幹部台北市木本獅子會300A3區 柯家陽會長，台北市中正獅子會300A3區 陳麗秋會長，台北市典範獅子會300A3區林皇淵會長，大家合力團結一同協助關懷8月29號出席關懷弱勢家庭，當天志工們在廚房幫忙協助煮午餐，熱鬧場面非常溫馨。
準備的物資東西有:癌症奶粉、麥片、白米、雞肉、魚、排骨、香腸、蔬果與慰問紅包禮金，希望能給予暫時幫助他們緊急之用。
