由臺中市政府運動局和南屯區體育會聯合主辦，台中市南屯區社區桌球聯誼賽活動，17日上午10時，由承辦人臺中市南屯區體育會理事長黃慧美、協辦單位嶺東科技大學校務顧問晏瑞文、臺中市南湖社區大學主任邱一峰、嶺東桌球專長國手吳淑卿老師，共同主持開球儀式，同時展開熱鬧的闖關遊戲，在遊戲間也推廣全民對桌球運動的喜好。
闖關遊戲共有六個關卡，包括：
（1）雙龍搶珠、左右逢源(用筷子夾桌球，將籃子內6顆桌球夾進不同的罐子內即可過關)。
（2）桌球九宮格(用桌球投進格子內)。
（3）彈彈樂(持桌球拍，對空拍球10下)。
（4）發球高手(持桌球拍，將球拋起後才可擊球，之後使球首先觸及發球方台區，然後越過球網，再觸及接發球方台區)。
（5）桌球高爾夫(吹氣讓球順利通過瓶蓋掉入洞口)。
（6）手眼協調(持桌球拍揮拍，擊打晃動中的桌球)。
這項活動輕鬆有趣，大小朋友皆可參加，除了闖關遊戲，同時有親子組、男女混合組、男童高年級組、女童高年級組的比賽；透過這些闖關要求，通過就可以領取獎品，也讓參加的民眾，能夠了解桌球基本的概念，寓教於樂，達到推廣的目的。
比賽結束由黃慧美理事長親自頒獎，同時議員何文海、劉士洲、張耀中助理廖榮達一同出席參加這個有趣的活動。
此次活動能夠圓滿成功，黃慧美理事長也特別感謝嶺東科技大學提供桌球場地及臺中市南湖社區大學的協辦，諸多志工不辭辛勞，現場實施防役措施檢測，全部人都要量體溫及等待選手戴口罩維護整場，這個現場持續宣導及做標語提醒，保持社交距離秩序與清潔，更是功不可沒。另外嶺東科大數位媒體設計系學生協助提供賽事活動直播。雖然疫情嚴峻，為了大家的健康，依然要動起來，這也是舉辦活動最大的目的。
