台中市【中城再生文化協會】、西川淑敏日本舞踊知家主辦第二屆「鈴蘭通散步納涼會」10/24~10/25將在［台中火車站至第二市場的中山路段］封街展開；中區沿街店家高高掛起手工復刻鈴蘭燈，邀請民眾換上日本和服、旗袍等服飾，漫遊舊城、體驗新舊族群與創意產業交融，感受台中舊城的深厚多元文化。
10/16舉辦活動記者會，台中市政府黃崇典秘書長、中城再生文化協會蘇弼睿理事長、西川流日本舞踊知家 西川淑敏老師、西川流日本舞踊知家 西川敏正老師、台中市國際觀光發展協會柴俊林理事長、中城再生文化協會陳冬梅秘書長出席參與宣傳。
台中市政府黃崇典秘書長表示．「鈴蘭通散步納涼會」活動有著歷史的傳承與記憶，是珍貴資產，由民間發起更可長久，希望成為地方重要活動，展現台中文化底蘊。「納涼會」是日治時期由街上的町會、工商會和店家，合力舉辦的商業活動，期間除了有夜市、變裝遊行、化裝舞會，還有摸彩、選美、攝影比賽等等，豐富的活動為街道帶來熱鬧的人潮，不僅是當時最新、最潮的購物節，也是彰顯街區向心力的嘉年華。
日本舞踊知家西川淑敏老師表示，「鈴蘭通(すずらん通り，Suzu Ran Tori)」是台中市中區中山路在日治時期的街道名稱，這條街道是台中第一條現代化的道路，當年在道路兩旁都豎立著裝飾有鈴蘭花的街燈，在台中的老照片中都還能看見它美麗的身影。
【中城再生文化協會】蘇睿弼理事長表示，台中是台灣第一個仿造日本京都棋盤式規劃的城市，最經典的街道在中山路~名為[鈴蘭通]，「鈴蘭通散步納涼會」2019年首次舉辦，吸引60多家商家加入，2020年擴大至百家，變裝遊行沿著中山路沿線設置五處跳島式市集，10/24(六)台中百年舊火車站廣場將舉辦納涼會開幕式、還有啤酒節、老照片展覽。邀民眾穿上優雅美麗的夏日和服(ゆかた)，一起到鈴蘭通老街悠遊散步，一同感受日本的祭典踩街熱鬧氛圍。
■第二屆「鈴蘭通散步納涼會」五大活動：
1.【全員大集合變裝遊行】
活動地點:舊車站前廣場至第二市場旁中山路封街路段
時間：109年10/24(六)至10/25(日)14:00-17:30
2.【中城散策市集落落踅】
將中山路切分為五座島嶼，每座島嶼以特色店家、建築為據點搭配手繪地圖及精心設計的路線指引，讓遊客挖掘屬於自己的漫遊路線、享受舊城悠閒的時光。
時間：109年10/24(六)至10/25(日)13:00-18:00
3.【大墩鈴蘭通啤酒節-舊車站裡的啤酒花園】
於臺中舊火車站一、二月台上以啤酒花園為概念、Change X Beer 舉辦「大墩鈴蘭通啤酒節 」。
時間：2020/10/24(六)13:00-22:00；10/25(日)13:00-19:30
地點：臺中舊車站第一、二月台
4.【余如季老照片展覽】
已故知名攝影家余如季從二戰前開始記錄臺中，超過一甲子的影像照片有不少是以臺中舊車站為主題。
時間：10/24(六)~11/22(日)
地點：臺中舊車站第二月台旁貫穿前後站通廊
5.【在地店家串聯】
串聯近百間在地店於活動期間掛上鈴蘭燈，營造建立鈴蘭通街道整體視覺意象及節慶氣氛。
