中華民國大專校院109學年度卡巴迪運動錦標賽在12月5-6日在樹德科技大學舉行，此次比賽為各大專院校中最重要的運動賽事，玄奘大學卡巴迪校隊經過兩日三戰後傳回佳績，女子組拿下亞軍，男子組則是連續三年奪冠，締造三連霸的紀錄。
玄奘大學在這次比賽中同樣派出男子組以及女子組參賽，選手們來自包含餐旅、社工、法律、應日、大傳、資管系學生，女子組選手包含任明琴、張佑婕、王君、劉宜茹、陳慧馨、廖千熠、林婕妤、蘇羿璇、任明綉等。女子組在第一日連勝兩場後，第二日與台北市立大學對戰中惜敗榮獲亞軍。男子組部份在第二日決賽與女子組一樣碰頭台北市立大學，組員包含史吳政豪、張崇茂、游皓程、湯嚴凱、黃柏硯、楊凱翔、劉嘉恩等。男子組在比賽過程中分數持續維持在5分內，在終場十秒以關鍵防守順利一分險勝，幫助校內女子組復仇台北市立大學成功，順利收下男子組冠軍寶座，也拿下大專盃三連霸紀錄。
玄奘大學卡巴迪校隊在校長簡紹琦與各師長全力支持下，加上教練團的指導與選手們日常努力訓練，近幾年持續在國內各賽事中展露頭角，卡巴迪運動也成為玄奘大學主要特色運動項目之一，期望玄奘大學卡巴迪校隊能持續蓬勃發展。
