受新冠肺炎疫情影響，創世基金會今年捐款銳減，歲末寒冬之際，花蓮翰品酒店、經典假日飯店為助創世植物人募集資源，分別打造「植愛聖誕樹」，於今(28)日11點31分攜手同時點亮植愛樹，象徵「愛心亮起來」，盼社會大眾發揮愛心，點亮弱勢家庭的希望曙光。
花蓮翰品酒店總經理孫薈茹女士表示，花蓮翰品酒店秉持「取之於社會，用之於社會」的理念，長年持續推動公益活動，善盡企業對社會的承諾與關懷，今年創世募款受疫情影響，飯店特別響應「點亮植愛樹」活動，大廳也會擺放集愛袋，民眾可索取響應愛心，再交由飯店轉捐創世，讓花蓮的弱勢家庭溫暖過年。
經典假日飯店經理林惠珍女士表示，創世花蓮分會在後山募款不易，許多植物人家庭難以負擔龐大的衛材費用，在尿布上能省則省，容易造成清潔方面的隱憂，但偏鄉地區的照顧刻不容緩，盼藉此活動拋磚引玉，鼓勵社團、企業一同支持，為在地弱勢盡一份心力。
創世基金會花蓮分會表示，今年配合防疫許多活動取消導致捐款銳減，但植物人服務不能停，「寒士吃飽30」是創世基金會每年農曆年前關懷弱勢的重要活動，因辦桌圍爐群聚風險大，改採「送禮到家」，預計在2021年2月第一週，全台同步送年禮及祝福紅包給2萬名植物人家庭、寒士、街友、待拉單媽、清寒長輩，讓弱勢家庭期待不落空。
邀請社會大眾投入社會公益，助弱勢溫馨過節，認助一份「植愛年禮及祝福紅包」，即可索取大甲鎮瀾宮開運錢母乙份以及造型祝福小卡，可掛置於飯店「植愛樹」上，為自己及弱勢家庭祈福。詳細活動辦法請見創世基金會花蓮分會粉專。愛心認助專線：(03)824-2929，劃撥帳號：06688188創世基金會。
