面對國際大宗物資之輸運受到武漢肺炎疫情的影響，農委會已協調相關協會及工業團體，將配合提前對下半年飼料穀物的預購作業，以確保國內飼料的正常供應。
農委會說明，本(109)年3月，阿根廷為因應武漢肺炎疫情，進行部分地區暫停邊境往來或延長內陸運輸之措施，經媒體報導後，造成國內畜牧業者擔心是否影響飼料玉米之供應，經該會轉請駐外單位協查，發現該國並無限制大宗物資之出口，且港口作業與海上運輸亦無違誤。日前社群網站中有民眾指出，國內業者採購的阿根廷玉米，連續7艘貨輪因武漢肺炎疫情致裝船速度受阻，惟經農委會查證，其中1艘已出發來臺途中，1艘裝載延誤5天，其餘5艘貨輪仍依表定的時序進行裝載，並無違誤之情形。
農委會表示，為確實掌握國外大宗物資的供應情形，該會於本年3月30日即已函請相關駐外單位協助瞭解相關農產品生產、供貨及港務運作等資訊，目前確認會優先維持其正常營運（包括出口設施的營運）；又依各方蒐集的資料亦顯示，國際上飼料用穀物的產量充足且供應無虞。惟該會為確保國內飼料穀物的正常供應，已與相關協會及工業團體溝通及取得共識，業者將配合提前布局，並規劃於本年6月底前完成可陸續供貨至年底的採購作業，請國內畜牧及養殖業者毋需過度緊張。
