2020 年 5 月 2 日 桃園市迄今近40 年歷史的大溪扶輪社、公益助善、社區服務 不遺餘力、日前除提倡捐血救人活動、捐助弱勢團體、捐贈巡守車輛之外，更深入校園加強防疫，本日捐贈防疫物資的單位是由國際扶輪 3502 地區大溪扶輪社社長林進賢發起、印製公益布口罩(亦可當口罩套用)捐贈予「桃園市大溪區轄區內二所高中、 市立國中、國小及幼兒園所屬教職員」約 1,200 名，與國際扶輪 3502 地區第四分區友 社(龜山社、大溪中央社、桃園東北社、桃園龍山社)社長們的讚賞與肯定，同時捐贈該 區域所需要的人，及關注國際友人(日本大野扶輪社、韓國晉州中央扶輪社)，預估捐贈 受惠者合計近 3,000 位。與會的大溪區學校校長代表 饒瑞峰校長(現任 120 年歷史的內 柵國小校長)與大溪區家長協會總會長 張偉義先生，於捐贈儀式上共同表達感謝之意。
桃園市長鄭文燦出席、由大溪扶輪社主辦於桃園防災中心的捐贈儀式「2020 年防疫 COVID-19 扶輪公益口罩捐贈儀式」時表示、感謝主辦社國際扶輪 3502 地區 大溪扶輪 社本次響應政府防疫活動，募集愛心，捐贈校園防疫布口罩，特別的是捐贈對象為大溪 區高中以下的教職員，強化校園防疫效果，除了體貼教職員的辛苦，必須長時間穿戴， 若因公益口罩套的使用，除能延長口罩的使用壽命外，更能節省寶貴的資源，讓社會上 更多真正有需要的人能妥善利用，響應政府行有餘力，得以助人的政策，同時更捐贈社 區與日本及韓國國際友人，在此感謝對教育界勞苦功高的老師與國際友誼交流的支持。
