吃益生菌台灣地瓜長大 憨吉牛正式發表

【記者邱嘉琪/嘉義報導】嘉義大學動物科學系成功開發「益生菌甘藷青貯飼料」,經金翔生物科技股份有限公司量產,媒合國產肉牛飼養業芸彰畜牧場、峰成畜牧場及雲牛畜牧場,以益生菌發酵甘藷飼養出吃臺灣地瓜長大的「憨吉牛」,肉質鮮嫩、油花漂亮,7月13日特別舉辦製程技術授權及成果發表會。

嘉大動物科學系副教授吳建平博士指出,飼料主要成份是玉米,益生菌甘藷青貯飼料可替代國內20%的玉米飼料,降低國內畜牧業對國外進口玉米的依賴性;且牛隻直接吃地瓜會脹氣、腹瀉,改吃益生菌甘藷可改善,系上養40頭牛做了兩年的實驗,肉牛經屠宰後,肉質更鮮嫩,油花部份也更均勻漂亮。

吳建平提到,如此不只改善了牛隻消化問題,地瓜下腳料也能充份使用,優質肉質也能讓廠商打造品牌銷售,產官學成功合作開發,創造多贏。

透過「益生菌甘藷青貯料」製程開發與利用,可提高國內芻料自給率,有效降低國內草食動物飼養成本與提升產業競爭力。初步估計可處理規格外甘藷約5,000公噸/年,國內草食動物於青貯料商品市場約可達每年1,000萬元以上,另外,取代進口芻料部分,可有效降低草食動物飼養成本約20-30%左右。

發表會後,邀請國內肉牛業者現場示範以國產地瓜製成益生菌飼養的「臺灣憨吉牛」烹調料理品嚐,或煎或清燙入口鮮美,嚐過皆稱讚。

  1. I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your website?

    Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
    But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
    Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images.
    Maybe you could space it out better?
