台灣客家文化產業協會在文化部文化資產局文化資產學院計畫支持下，6/6、6/7規劃二天的天后宮古蹟文化體驗活動，課程內容以[看、讀、賞]文化資產出發，含國家三級古蹟六堆天后宮、昌黎祠、東望樓、謝氏宗祠、新北勢庄東柵門等，以「祠廟」為主題，搭配其周邊相關的歷史建築藝術或宗教祭儀等配套課程，形成主題特色體驗活動。
※客家族群在高屏區域墾殖，開始於清康熙年間，至今已逾三百年的歷史，在六堆地區有許多的文化資產，呈現豐富與多元性。
※六堆天后宮是清嘉慶八年（1803年）由鍾麟江所倡建，在內埔龍頸溪南岸。1985年公告為三級古蹟，後改為縣定古蹟。其無論在歷史、文化、建築工藝的表現上，都值得提供體驗遊學。
據耆老口述，天后宮旁龍頸溪畔昔日有藍染工坊，以溪水漂染，因此，也規劃一日工匠：手染體驗課程。原創設計中心宋美玲老師運用天后宮文化意象，如建築裝飾花紋、文化歷史記憶或圖騰為基調，以線條塑形，應用綁染技巧創作，教導創意設計文創手染作品。生態拓印平安包課程，運用龍頸溪畔花草為材料，以國家三級古蹟、昌黎祠、東望樓…等造型紋理，應用植物拓染技巧，讓束口袋呈現不同造型圖紋，設計出專屬獨一的內埔歷史建築意象構圖。
