母親鄭女士表示，欽輝因從小即不善言語表達，社交及溝通能力較差，成長過程常受到異樣眼光，但她多次以「疾風知勁草」的道理來激勵欽輝，要他做個善良的人。這次非常感謝方婉茜、葉嘉忻二位老師，在欽輝求學歷程中細心陪伴，讓他在人際互動上不斷進步，並發掘他的數理潛能，最終才能讓欽輝以特殊選才方式考上清華等4所國立大學，所以總統教育獎的獲獎榮耀實屬於前鎮高中的老師們。
前鎮高中導師方婉茜表示，欽輝是一位善良又熱心的孩子，常透過圖解與書寫來幫同學解題並配合班級活動，工作認真，同時謙和有禮，也懂得感恩，相信未來也能憑藉專業對社會作出貢獻。
徐志權主任表示，移民署有許多新住民及其子女照顧輔導措施，在各縣市服務站也都設有移民輔導業務窗口，以協助新住民家庭解決在臺生活適應問題。移民署也有規劃多項新住民及其子女的培力計畫，如獎助學金計畫、築夢計畫、海外培力計畫及免費借用平板電腦等各項服務，歡迎新住民朋友們多加利用，或來電諮詢高雄市第一服務站(07)715-1660。
