臺中市明台高中108學年度畢業生畢業典禮16日上午圓滿完成，經歷疫情波折，實名制登記入場，典禮過程樸實隆重且場面溫馨，霧峰警局廖國政分局長、立法委員陳柏惟、世界華人工商婦女企管協會總會長施郭鳯珠、副會長陳阡蕙、議政博物館王俊傑館長、台中廣播莊子富總經理、鄰近國中校長主任、明台家長會會長夫人、委員以及各科大校長、文史工作者等長官、賓客、家長蒞臨現場熱情滿座，絡繹不絕。
明台高中林芳媖董事長肯定畢業生三年傑出的表現，設立「董事會獎」、「霧峰林家林蘭生基金會獎」以及「愛明台服務獎」，肯定畢業生在校期間擔任各處室服務學習付出，用心盡責、犧牲奉獻、認同熱愛學校。多年來林芳媖董事長關心學生學習生活與經濟需要，畢業生授獎後舞台上圍著林董事長，獻上感謝花束與親手寫下的卡片致上謝意!林芳媖董事長開心祝福畢業生，未來升學或就業，帶著學校師長教導的一身技能，闖出一片天，以身為明台人為榮！
明台高中林承峯副董事長再次讚揚今年科大繁星錄取國立科大優秀同學、室內設計科全國設計群專題全國冠軍同學、餐飲科美容科考取乙級技術士證照同學優異表現，尤其近年成立寵物經營科、表演技術科等三年免學雜費實用技能科系，就讀明台高中成為技職達人是家長同學最佳的選擇。
霧峰區陳宗祈區長代表台中市盧秀燕市長蒞臨祝福頒獎，致詞稱讚明台高中為古蹟花園學校，辦學具文化與國際特色，獲獎同學表現突出，受國中家長正面肯定。林垂益校長勉勵畢業生朝夢想勇敢向前邁進，並以知足、惜福、感恩、進取的心來面對未來挑戰。典禮最後在主持人口令下「起立!立正!敬禮!謝謝爸爸、媽媽和老師~」，所有畢業生再次感謝學校、老師及父母的陪伴，帶著一身功夫與專業，展現禮貌、尊重、熱忱的品德態度，迎接明日人生新的挑戰！
