鳳凰花開、紅樓矗立、欖仁樹下、綠草如茵、驪歌聲響、離情依依，美和高中6/19以「榮耀日光 榮耀美和」為主題，辦理創校58週年以來第一次的校園戶外畢業典禮。
曾焜宗校長表示，南台灣的六月艷陽高照，但美和高中的校園，綠樹圍繞、綠草如茵、鳥聲啁啾，校園一片綠意盎然，為了讓高中第54屆、高職第40屆、國中第57屆的畢業學子，能在人生求學階段留下一個難忘的時光，特別舉辦獨樹一幟、別出心裁的畢業典禮，以蒼穹為頂，以大地為席，交織出充滿離情卻也溫馨的畫面。
美和高中校園的欖仁樹蔭下，有學生情誼的足跡，典禮以高二混聲合唱團演唱《榮耀的日光》歌曲揭開序幕，中場再由國三女聲合唱團的《城南送別》帶動起師生們「芳草碧連天」的離情依依。最後全體畢業生唱《珍重再見》及「美和、美和，美麗安和，武山蒼蒼，椰林環繞」的校歌，在樂音悠揚、清風徐徐中，結束了一場溫馨又別緻的畢業典禮。與會嘉賓及家長們也為此次特別的畢業饗宴，留下了深刻且難忘的印象。
曾焜宗校長提及，美和高中就像是一個大家庭，師生之間的感情一向是非常濃厚，學校努力營造安心優質的學習環境，注重品德的陶冶以及人文的素養，在學校「多元、歡樂」的氛圍中，學生喜歡猶如父母的師長、喜歡美麗的校園、更喜歡在歡樂中求取智慧，家長更是放心把小孩送到美和這樣溫馨的環境。
