健康食材頂柳牛蒡 新鮮採收台灣第一

位於屏東市頂柳盛產的牛蒡聞名各地,正值採收期,記者算是頭一次目睹,透過畫面實況了解採收過程。

來到現場看見整株又斗大的蒡葉,佈滿了近一甲田地,以為是來到了美濃的「菸草田」相當的神似,不過美濃的「菸草田」已經走入歷史,不再栽種生產;未來或許只能藉助頂柳牛蒡田來引喻菸草的樣貌了!

看著蒡農辛苦的駕著特製的耕耘機「雙礔板」ㄧ畦ㄧ畦的犁溝將泥土剷鬆,ㄧ條條的牛蒡乍現,後面的蒡農彎著腰拾取侯再整理綑綁,頂著大太陽著實的辛苦。

採收後的牛蒡必需經過整理再入冰箱冷藏,之後可烘乾製片、磨粉、等方式,再產出不同的商品,例如牛蒡茶、茶包、牛蒡片、料理包、牛蒡粉、、消費者各其所需的採購。

由於牛蒡含有豐富的蛋白質、脂肪、碳水化合物、礦物質及維他命C與B群,營養價值相當高,受日本人的喜愛。牛蒡除作食材成就美食佳餚盤中飧外,也是中醫入藥的妙方。
