金馬澎分署第九岸巡隊於6月24日上午參與台電塔山發電廠在金門將軍泉海灘辦理的淨灘活動，合計約180餘人參與本次淨灘活動，共同為這座美麗的島嶼盡一份心力。
為守護海洋環境、永續海洋資源，海巡署金馬澎分署第九岸巡隊邀集同仁共襄盛舉，並派遣13員配合台電塔山發電廠及其他參與單位志工不畏烈日清理各式海漂垃圾，本次清運總計約350餘公斤(可回收垃圾50公斤；不可回收垃圾300公斤)，執行成果豐碩。
海巡署表示，因海洋環境過度開發，以及垃圾廢棄物的污染，使得海洋正面臨嚴峻的考驗，為配合行政院「向海致敬」政策，鼓勵人民「淨海」、「知海」、「近海」以及「進海」，故「淨海」是我們正積極進行的第一個階段工作，而參與淨灘活動是我們對海洋保育、回復自然面貌的具體表現，亦期盼結合全民的力量，讓全國海岸每吋土地都乾淨。也呼籲國人對海洋生態環境保育的重視，珍惜海洋資源，為我們的世代子孫保留住這片大自然所賜予的珍貴資產
