國立海洋科技博物館於暑假假日延長營運時間至晚上7點，而黃昏後於主題館區至潮境公園往返的遊客日漸增多，為了讓遊客於主題館行經長潭漁港至潮境公園這條路線更具可看性，今(109)年在行政院農委會漁業署的支持下，「海科館-長潭漁港-潮境公園沿線光雕計畫」所建置的「漁沐光宴」點亮漁路，將於明(18)日完成與啟動，展開為期2個月的點亮漁路，點亮期程為7月18日至9月20日， 而這一兩天的試點期間已吸引許多民眾拍照打卡，再為基隆增添一個拍照打卡聚焦之亮點。
海科館表示，很多民眾會選擇以漫遊與步行方式往返主題館與潮境公園兩地，而這段路程會行經「長潭里漁港步道」，短短不到一公里的徒步，可欣賞長潭漁港具有特色的聚魚燈漁船和了解漁村文化，海景餐廳、咖啡店與水上運動等特色也均存在於潮境公園範圍內，博物館與地方的發展緊密相連，因而由行政院農委會漁業署所推動的農村再生基金計畫中所支持下的「海科館-長潭漁港-潮境公園沿線光雕計畫」，也同時串連博物與地方的亮點營造和帶動發展，為了不影響地方的作息，點燈將於晚上6點半至8點半。
海科館館長陳素芬說明，「海科館-長潭漁港-潮境公園」三個地方的簡寫為「海長潮」，長的諧音與「掌」音相通，意味此區遊客量、觀光產業都能跟漲潮一樣，長長久久。
而「漁沐光宴」的燈光廊帶，將從海科館遺址廣場至潮境公園福長宮，設計有「水母光隧道」、「樹光倒影」、「星夜微光」、「潮‧花星」、「藍浪螢光」及「光影激賞」等六區主題燈光，主題發想係以漁港、漁村為擘劃的發想地，透過光雕藝術的建構，期許吸引更多的觀光人潮，目前海科館假日延長營運至晚上7點，假日於16:00-18:00所販售的星光票優惠組合為150元(原價400元)，可同時參觀主題館與海洋嘉年華趣味海洋生物特展，民眾不妨於參觀海科館後，可同時感受在海風海味海景相襯下，走訪點亮漁路的路線及體驗八斗仲夏海科「漁沐光宴」的美！
