縣長林明溱31日會同立委馬文君丶議員廖文賢丶仁愛鄉代理鄉長王源鐘及多位鄉民代表在仁愛鄉民代表會召開「仁愛鄉投89線重大工程檢討會」，林縣長指示研議於49K貨櫃牆前加設排水溝改善山水漫流路面情形，並於坡面加設菱形鋼網以岩釘固定後植生，降低崩塌可能；15K至25K改善工程加派水泥車提高施工進度，縮短工期，以減少對部落農業生產影響。
當天由廠商進行「108年度仁愛鄉投89線49K處經常性土石流災害改善工程」及「仁愛鄉投89線15K至25K危險路段改善工程」簡報，並前往49K處實地了解工程品質，林縣長也聽取投89線沿線部落居民代表意見，並與廠商溝通工程進度，並取得縮短工期共識。
林縣長表示，投89線力行產業道路長期以來因地質因素，經常造成崩塌阻斷交通，被稱為全台最爛的道路，縣府為改善投89線行車品質，讓部落居民有安全回家的路，目前於49K經常性土石流災害路段進行試驗性工法，以貨櫃堆疊方式作為擋土牆，穩定邊坡阻斷土石流，改善交通中斷情形，目前進度約1成，經實地勘查了解，該處邊坡為破碎地質，因此將採岩釘固定菱形鋼網後，再於坡面植生保護邊坡，以減少土石崩塌情形，完工後如能有效改善土石流災害，再研議將此工法複製應用在其他大崩塌地。
另46K+300明隧道工程部分，目前因應15K至25K危險路段改善工程進行停工，以利加速路面澆置工程進行，該工程全長10公里，原訂2階段進度各需20日曆天，但因目前正值秋茶採收時節，部落居民擔憂影響茶葉採收製作，希望能縮短工期，經協調廠商後，確定將增加水泥車車次，第1階段翠巒至紅香部落聯外道路支線（22K+540）路段及第2階段紅香部落至力行部落（24K+940）路段均分別縮短於2週內將此約5公里路段鋪設完成，讓8個部落有安全平穩的通行道路。
馬立委也表示，力行產業道路是沿線部落長期的痛，在林縣長積極改善下，近年來道路品質大幅改善，目前也積極針對經常性土石流崩塌路段進行改善，未來將會持續協助縣府爭取經費改善本縣道路品質。
王代理鄉長及部落代表對於林縣長積極改善力行產業道路及重視民意表達高度肯定，同時也期待在縣府團隊的努力下，未來回家的路能更安全順暢。
