﹝記者 郭漢宥 新北市報導﹞1月28日新北市長侯友宜自新埔民生站搭乘新北捷運環狀線，視察民眾試乘狀況、慰勞第一線服務同仁，同時也到新北產業園區站發放印有錢鼠的新春福袋，祝大家新年快樂。
搭乘新北捷運環狀線時，許多民眾向侯市長打招呼，開心分享試乘心情，也大讚之前的噪音問題改善許多。侯友宜表示，自1月19日開放試乘至今，已經有27萬人次搭乘，新北環狀線不僅使雙北交通更便利，從新北產業園區站連通道轉乘機捷只需要步行3分鐘，並且1月31日起可以在新北產業園區站預辦登機，相當方便、省時。
針對武漢肺炎疫情，侯友宜提醒民眾出門多戴口罩，他也表示搭乘環狀線時，近8成的乘客都有戴口罩，大家看到他也以拱手替代握手，這是很好的觀念，平時也要記得勤洗手，保持身體健康。
捷運局表示，新北環狀線將於1月31日上午舉辦通車典禮，機場捷運A3新北產業園區站的預辦登機及行李托運服務，預計當日下午14時啟用，確定進駐航空公司有中華航空、長榮航空、立榮航空及華信航空，服務時間為早上6點15分至晚間21點，相關規定詳桃園機場公司公告為準。
