十多年前由資深藝術家趙宗冠博士及李元亨教授法國藝術家法國沙龍得獎人，也是亞洲唯一藝術家沙龍評審，領軍邀集彰化縣籍或居住彰化十年以上，現居臺中市創作不懈的藝術工作者，且須獲得全國性美展優選以上或官辦個展資歷者加入，至今匯聚43位會員皆是一時之選，成員涵蓋的領域廣泛，包含大學教授、醫師、建築師、律師、校長…等，其中歷經曾淑慧及張秀燕兩任前會長努力帶領之下，會員創作力活潑旺盛，個展不斷，年齡涵蓋老、中、青，有數十創作資歷者，亦有年輕發光的藝術新秀，每年展出佳評如潮，掌聲連連，甚至都有藏家前來收藏作品。
「生命的禮讚」為臺中市彰化同鄉美術會立案後的第二回展出，理事長黃騰萱說：生命是不斷的充滿奇遇，每位藝術家都是在生命旅程中得到觸動，尤其2020這仲夏充滿了生命的聚散，堆疊出面對生命的堅毅態度。為了將作品內涵的情感共性擴延，在畫面中開展「愛」、「善良」、「希望」，都是對生命的一種禮讚、一種詮釋。
理事長黃騰萱提及：「以最簡單的繪畫語彙，表達深刻的人文生命向度」，喚醒觀者對真實生命的關注、人性本質的依歸，飄散著永恆禮讚生命。 
此次於臺中市屯區藝文中心展出，作品涵蓋油畫、水彩、水墨、書法、膠彩、攝影與複合媒材等共75件，從寫實、寫意、具象到抽象，兼併融合傳統與現代，呈現當代藝術更多元的創作向度，件件作品充分彰顯其生命的內涵，才會如此澎湃而氣勢磅礡。
另外，民眾入館時量測體溫，採實名(聯)制登記，並落實社交距離或戴口罩，平時也要肥皂勤洗手、咳嗽遮口鼻，共同維護安心場館空間。展期109/6/5~6/28
